The traditional Italian snacks from Puglia are savoury bread sticks rolled into rings that are first boiled and then baked. The handmade Taralli have a golden-yellow surface and a crispy and crumbly texture. They are excellent as an aperitif with a good glass of wine or as a bread substitute with a platter of cold cuts or cheese.
